I have 2001 4x6 gas engine gator with 500 + hours. It is maintained and not abused. It has started to pop out of gear, and you have to hold down the gear shift to keep it in. Does anyone have any experience with this? It just came back from the shop for a tune up and started doing this. I would really like to avoid another costly trip to the dealer if at all possible.

About the only thing that comes to mind is that the dealer may have adjusted the shift linkage and caused the problem. Otherwise, that problem sounds like it will be an expensive one to fix. ....
